These terms apply to the Hidalgo County CSCD SMS Program. The program owner is Hidalgo County Community Supervision & Corrections Department. Hidalgo County CSCD is the organization communicating with recipients. Lowell Works, operated by Civitas Labs LLC, provides the technology and messaging infrastructure as Hidalgo County CSCD's service provider.

Program terms

Hidalgo County CSCD SMS Program

Hidalgo County CSCD personnel review messages and choose when to send them. The program provides human-reviewed customer-care and informational messages about community-supervision administration. These messages are not marketing or promotional messages.

Program messages may include requests to contact an officer, appointment reminders, reporting instructions, administrative document requests, service information, and responses about community-supervision administration.

Messages are sent after the recipient voluntarily agrees to receive Hidalgo County CSCD texts. SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Frequency and rates

Message frequency varies. Messages may be recurring.

HELP and STOP instructions

Reply HELP for assistance, or call Hidalgo County CSCD at (956) 587-6000.

Reply STOP to opt out. Hidalgo County CSCD may send one final opt-out confirmation. After that confirmation, no further program messages will be sent from that number unless the recipient later opts in again.

Delivery and appropriate use

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery and availability may vary by carrier, device, and location.

The Hidalgo County CSCD SMS Program must not be used for emergencies. Contact the appropriate emergency service directly when immediate help is needed.
