• Case-related administrative information supplied by an authorized participating organization or case worker for the purpose of contacting you.
• Basic technical information, such as browser type, device information, IP address, and website usage data.

Please do not send sensitive case details by text unless an authorized case worker specifically directs you to use an approved method.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide informational case notifications and help authorized case workers contact their clients.
• Deliver, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and support Lowell Works services.
• Record and honor communication preferences, including opt-out requests.
• Respond to questions and provide customer or recipient support.
• Prevent misuse, protect rights and safety, and comply with applicable law.
• Analyze and improve service reliability and performance.

Lowell Works Case Notifications are informational. We do not use enrollment in this program to send marketing or promotional messages.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information, including phone numbers, opt-in data, and consent records, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary:

• To the participating organization and its authorized case workers responsible for the relevant communication.
• To service providers that process information on our behalf to operate, secure, and support the service, subject to confidentiality and use restrictions.
• To comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate protections.

The mobile-information restriction above does not prevent sharing with service providers solely to deliver the messaging program, including telecommunications providers, or when disclosure is required by law.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain required records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and the participating organization's requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may reply STOP to a Lowell Works Case Notifications message at any time to stop future messages from that program. Reply HELP for help. You may also contact us to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and required recordkeeping.

Your browser may allow you to control cookies or similar technologies. Disabling them may affect some website functionality.

Children's privacy

Lowell Works services are provided to organizations and their authorized users. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the public website. A participating organization is responsible for obtaining any authorization required before using the messaging service to contact a minor.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
